Muriel Hoffler

Obituary of Muriel Hoffler

Muriel Hoffler was called home to her salvation suddenly and peacefully to Our Lord on June 4, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn NY on March 12, 1949 to Enoch and Iola Pigford. Muriel was a deeply devoted and cherished mother of Michael and his wife Vanessa and Brian and his wife Monica. Loving sister of Enetta McCann, Huston Pigford and the late Melvin & Allan. Proud grandmother of Kristen, Isaiah, Michael, Rebecca and Gabriel. She was a dear friend and aunt to many. Muriel was a cornerstone of her Church foundation and we would be remiss to not mention her church family who morns her sudden passing. Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea, But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark; For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crost the bar. Please see the service tab to your left for Muriel's funeral details. Marine Park Funeral Home would like to extend those of you who loved and knew Muriel or her family to take advantage of the condolence tab to your left. Though daily life obligations may not allow us to attend every funeral we all still have a moment out of life to stop, reflect and remember!
