He as the worlds best uncle. He would always stop and talk to us. He made you feel as if you are his kid and not a niece or nephew. Benny never got lost he just found a new way of getting there. I will miss him as I do my father.

My godfather and a good friend of my ather's, "Uncle" Benny was quite a guy. As a kid, He (and Aunt Fan) never forgot me at Christmas time. I still remember the baseball mitt, the microscope and (how can I forget) the boxing gloves for me and my brother John. Uncle Benny was always kind, gentle and generous. At the family picnics, Uncle Ben always wore dress shorts and knee socks (and looked very sharp in them I might add!). Taught me one Italian word - an important one - Coraggio (courage), and patiently taught me how to pronounce it. I'm sure he wanted me to remember that if nothing else. He was right. I will miss him greatly.
