Obituary of Reverend Ralph J. Caputo

Rev. Ralph J. Caputo, age 74, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Fr. Caputo was born on June 29, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York. He is the son of the late Ralph H. and the late Eugenia (Sichenze) Caputo.

Fr. Caputo dedicated his life to being a priest for the Brooklyn Diocese and was ordained into the priesthood on May 3, 1975. His pastoral assignments included St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church and Our Lady Help of Christians Roman Catholic Church.

He is survived by his brother, Gerard J. Caputo.

Reposing on Monday, June 17, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn.

The Mass of Transferal will be held following the visitation at 7:00 PM.

The last viewing will be on Tuesday, June 18, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Bernard R.C. Church.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 2055 East 69th Street, Brooklyn.

Rev. Ralph J. Caputo will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens.
