Obituary of Louise Diletto

Louise Diletto, "LuLu", age 87, of Brooklyn, entered into eternal rest with her husband Mario Diletto on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Mrs. Diletto was born December 2, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Mario and the late Angelina (Russo) Barrella.

Beloved mother of her two children Carmela (Jeff) and Mario (Lisa).  Adoring grandmother of Cariann, Christopher, and Gianni. Dear sister of Theresa Pierro and Salvatore Barrella and loving aunt of Nicholas, (her godson), Nancy, Angela, Suzanne, Lynda and the late Salvatore (Sonny).

Louise grew up in Canarsie and loved fiercely. She was a straight shooter with a great sense of humor, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a knack for being in the middle of everything, bringing her vibrant presence and energy to family gatherings which she so enjoyed.

Family and friends will gather to pay their respects during the repose on Monday, February 12, from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 13, at St. Beranrd R.C. Church, 2055 E 69th Street, Brooklyn.

Entombment to immediately follow at Canarsie Cemetery, Brooklyn.

May Louise's soul rest in eternal peace and may her vibrant spirit and cherished memories continue to bring comfort and joy to those who loved her.
